Day 43: Ionic & Covalent Bonds Venn Diagram

Today students continued to record notes on Ionic and Covalent bonds. Students used the Ionic & Covalent Bonds Info File to record their information. The requirements were as follows:
- 7 facts on each bond type
- 3 common traits (similarities) between the bond types
- 1 example of each bond type
Students then got their notes initialed and started drawing a Venn Diagram on colored paper. Students used the Ionic & Covalent Bonds Venn Diagram Rubric as a guide to ensure they could earn full points (20 pts) on the assignment.
Homework: Venn Diagram due on Tuesday (10/23). Also, our next test will be around the middle of next week (the 24th or 25th).
